In spring 2010, Hubby and I spent a week in Paris.
As we climbed to the top of Notre-Dame Cathedral, we enjoyed photographing the grotesques that adorn the building's exterior.
We like to call these gargoyles, but they really aren't gargoyles unless they serve as waterspouts. (Think of the word "gargle".) These are grotesques, fanciful animals or humanesque characters.
From the top, we had beautiful views of the city.
Someday, we will return.
